Are you are Manager or a Leader?

Are you a manager or leader? Often, people think the two are interchangeable. According to Daniels & Daniels (2007), the function that leaders fill is quite different that that of a manager. A manager maintains people, the process and the system as a whole, while a leader inspires others through their vision. Both are viable to the success of any organization.The role of a manager or leader does not indicate the ranking order. I have known many people in leadership positions that functioned as a manager. likewise, I have equally know of many people in managerial roles that served as leaders.
