The Fragile X Treatment Research
Program will be holding its inaugural Fragile X Symposium, titled
"Transitions and Adulthood," on Monday, Aug. 20, beginning at 6:30
p.m. at the Holiday Inn Nashville-Vanderbilt, located at 2613 West End Avenue.
This event is open to families of children, adolescents, and adults with
Fragile X syndrome as well as researchers, students, community professionals,
clinicians, and disability advocates. Guest speakers and topics will include:
- Nirupama Madduri, M.D., Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Division of Developmental Medicine: "Crossing into Adulthood: A Medical and Developmental Perspective on Transitioning Individuals with Fragile X Syndrome"
